When using an SSD drive in windowsXP

The OS does not support TRIM so you'd better do the following:
 

• Enable Write Caching
• Disable indexing
• Disable Superfetch
• Disable Prefetch
• Firefox - Use memory cache instead of disk cache
• Disable the Page File
• Disable System Restore
• Disable Hibernate
